"Thakor's Sweets" was started in the early 1900 by Late Shri Thakorbhai Chhaganlal Halvawala .

During his tenure he earned great fame and respect for all the efforts he put in for the development of the business.He was honoured by the post of President of Gujarat & Maharashtra Mithai-Farsan Sahayak Mandal in the year 1956 till he died.
